No sir. This is really nothing more than a foot-operated air valve. The pump is the air compressor. This valve goes betweent the air compressor and whatever item you're looking to control air flow. I hope this helps. Thanks Bob.

I am looking for a replacement pedal. I have trouble 'finding neutral' Unless you are very careful, the lift has a tendency to keep going up unless you are very careful to adjust the pedal, just right. Does this pedal have a more positive 'neutral' ?

Yes sir. If you let your foot off of this pedal, it will instantly return to the neutral position via spring with no airflow to or from the lift. We have never had an issue of the type with this pedal. Thanks Dan!

i bought a used handy lift , the foot pedal was m.i.a. , as handys prices are outrageous i opted for this replacement from redline . works as well as a handy BUT is much quieter. and that is a great improvement! thank you red line !!!!
