RETIRED LIVING THE DREAM!
Jun 22, 2020June 1st 2020. Last day of work. WooHoo! Bored, like to work on my bikes but underwent knee surgery so I'm hard down. Stumbled across the Redline HD1500 motorcycle lift. Researched it and bought it anyways. Seems like everything is made in China these days and so is this...What's a man to do? Pulled the trigger and bought it anyways with the $499.00 electric lift upgrade. $50.00 bucks extra per year for the next 10 years of my life. My Kobalt compressor leaks down and I did not want to turn it on everytime I lifted Valerie, my 1999 Honda Interstate made in USA. Eat your hearts out trust fund Millennials' who ride those Harley's on Daddy's money. It's ok, I ride a Harley from time to time but prefer the American made Honda out of Ohio. I also own a 98 Valkyrie Tourer with Stage II jets and a mild cam which is my Harley Killer. She just won't pass a gas station but loves to put those CVO's in their place. This lift is a game changer for me. I recently had knee surgery and was going through DT's of not riding and not being able to polish/service my girls. The electric lift option is money well spent if you can swing it. This lift operates smoothly and if you can get past the fact that it is built in China, it might serve you will. The welds are not the best and the metal where the lift locks in while it is going down is not very pretty but functional. Overall, I would buy this lift again but would rather it be built with good old American craftmanship. Major Pro is it lifts extra high 40 plus inches so I can cut the concrete out in the garage in the future and just drive right on the lift which I plan to do. Cons are it is just so expensive but I wanted the best so I found myself bellying up to the bar to pay for it. I picked mine up at the wharehouse in Pensacola, FL and found the Wharehouse Manager to be totally awesome. So far I am happy. -

Just What The Dr Ordered, Literally!
Jan 12, 2018I have been a backyard mechanic for quads, dirtbikes and snowmobiles for over 45 years. As I have gotten older, the old grey mare aint what she used to be, in other words, I can't crawl around on the shop floor, or kneel or hunch over while working on these things without steady back pain. My wife had enough and bought me this for Christmas. This was the best thing that I could have ever added to my shop. Now I can stand and work on stuff at eye level and be comfortable while working. Works great! -

A lot of machine for not much money
Jun 3, 2016This thing is loaded with everything. Vise, sides, front extension, you name it. I just wish I had gotten the frame jack. Be aware it isn\'t easy to move. At 800 lbs she\'s a big girl! I recommend it completely!
