    Great pedal, high air flow

    Jan 4, 2024
Pedal works great. I chose resline stands pedal due to the 1/2" inch ports compared to the 1/4 or 3/8 inch ports other companies foot pedals have which would restrict the air flow. The less air restrictions in air fittings, especially for a blast cabinet, the better.

    Saved the day

After trying to clean and repair the old pedal that came with my unit, I decided to buy this one. The cover over the plunger is a little tight. Seems like I can only get the toe of the shoe inside it but other than that, it work great. I considered buying just the valve for my old unit, but this was a better deal.

    Q. What is the CFM?
What is the pipe thread size?
    A. My apologies but we do not know the thread specs on the pedal. The CFM is not something that is controlled by the foot valve. CFM is determined mostly by your air compressor, and the pressure you have it set to output. However, your line size and even line length can affect CFM as well. I hope this helps. Thanks for your question Vaughn.

    Q. Is this an on/off type switch or will it vary the pressure based on position?
    A. You might can vary the pressure to some degree by not fully depressing the pedal, but that's not a realistic way to use this pedal, because it would require you to sort-of hover your foot over the pedal and not allow you to relax your leg/foot and just stand on it. Because of this, we think it's best to consider it as just an on/off pedal. Thanks for your question!

    Q. on the Redline RE48/70, is there only 1 pneumatic fitting or 2? I'm looking at this to control a pneumatic piston which requires an in and out port.
    A. This pedal has ports on each side. When depressed via your foot, the valve opens. Thus, the ports could serve in either in/out or out/in direction depending on how you plumb it to the pressure vessel. Thanks for your question!
