    Works pretty okay

    Sep 27, 2021
Setting up the cabinet is fairly easy; anyone who has ordered furniture, etc should have no problem with assembly. Seems to be working pretty well. Be sure to have the seal covering the corners well. Also, I picked up some medium media; I will be picking up some heavier stuff to remove heavy rust and weld burns. For the money, I’m pretty okay with it.

    It's.... ok

    Jul 28, 2023
Assembly was fairly straightforward even though the instructions were translated and lacking in specifics. The unit is sturdy and works pretty well. The top of mine doesn't quite line up correctly, but the clip holds it in place. It does blow some media out through the top seams even at a pressure of 40 psi. After a short period, it becomes very difficult to see what is happening inside the cabinet even with the light. I may try to add a port for a Shop-Vac to evacuate the dust. I am using glass bead with an equivalent of 80-100 grit.

    Q. Do I need a huge compressor or will an 8 gal. Work? Thanks
    A. So, the gallon size of the air compressor has nothing to do with whether or not it will work. It’s all about CFM. Please watch THIS VIDEO to learn what I mean. At the end of the day, this cabinet requires 9.5 CFM at 60 PSI in order to operate continuously. Thanks for your question Joe!

    Q. Can it handle 100 psi
    A. Yes sir, though you should expect pressure like that to do a pretty solid job overpowering the cabinet and causing media to scatter around the cabinet. Thanks Rudy!

    Q. Looking at the RE26KD for my shop. My compressor will deliver 7.4 cfm at 100 psi or 8.3 at 40 psi. This cabinet is recommending 9.5 cfm at 60 psi.......how will the air pressure from my compressor affect the operation of this cabinet ??
    A. You just won't be able to operate the unit continuously with your compressor. You'll have to stop and let it catch up, but to be honest, that's more normal than you think. Even if your compressor was large enough, you're still going to stop periodically to let the dust clear and inspect your part to see what areas need more blasting. In other words, we think you'll be fine. Thanks Scott!

    Q. Why is this cabinet $199 here with free shipping but you sell it on Amazon for $229 and $40 for shipping? I have some Amazon gift cards to use and want this cabinet but cant see the reason to spend $90 extra dollars because its amazon. Please help???? Wanting to buy a redline
    A. So $199 is the price we have to collect for it in-hand as of 1/17/22. Amazon charges a lot of fees for selling on their site, so we increase our prices on Amazon because after they take their cut, we need $199 for the product. We also charge extra on Amazon to help offset losses for things like returns, which Amazon makes Redline pay for regardless of fault. In short, our expenses are your expenses and if you want the lowest price possible, you'll need to purchase right here on our website to get the best deal. Thanks for your great question!

    Q. Does this unit have to have a shop vac hooked up to it during operation?
    A. It is not necessary in order to operate the cabinet. Air can escape through the filtered port. You are able to hook a vacuum to it if you choose. Don't forget your respirator. Thanks for reaching out Jon!
