    Q. I have a 1968 chevelle I’m restoring would they work
    A. You'd need to double check the distance between the mounting points in the door jams and reference them against our posted specs, but I'd be surprised if not. Thanks Leo.

    Q. will these work ona 67 GTO convertible? Are two braces used per side? where/how do the attach?
    A. Due to the inherently weak nature of convertibles we do not recommend using these door bars or any other on a convertible. Please consider custom fabricating something very strong to mount to the upper hinge and striker. With that said, this is the minimu you should do. We highly recommend a square tubing endoskeleton to keep the car geometrically sound. Please understand convertibles are the weakest of the weak. You can skimp-out with the bare minimum here, but when you've applied an expensive paint job and you discover your windshield no longer fits your convertible, it won't be funny. I hope this helps. Thanks for shopping with us Jerry!

    Q. I am restoring a 65 chevelle, 2 Door hard top. Will these braces fit?
    A. We feel pretty confident they would, but to be honest you need to take the collapsed length of 45" and extended length of 68", measure your door's mounting points, and determine for sure that your car falls within these two distances. Thanks Tim!

    Q. Hello, I’m getting ready to mount the body of my 1977 Trans am with Hurst T-Tops to one of your rotisseries. Doors are removed and the door Striker is removed, leaving only the Stryker threaded hole to mount to. The distance is 54” from styler mounting surface to door hinge mounting surface. Will these door bars work for my application? I ask because you have a pic stating not recommended for post style door strikers.
    A. Would you please send some pictures of your mounting surfaces to [email protected] We'd like to see and inspect your situation before giving you bad information. Thanks Sam!

    Q. I am restoring a 1972 TR6, and I'm removing the body to repair the frame. My question is, will these fit once I have removed the doors?
    A. Sir, you'll have to measure the distance between your mounting points on your car and compare them to our posted specs. I'd love to answer your question with a simple yes or no, but I'm afraid we do not possess dimensions on the TR6. Thanks for your question!
