Is the lowered height of your PT1650 a bit too high? We’ve got you covered. With the PT1650-LLK leg lowering kit, you can install this kit onto your existing PT1650 and lower the lift by 7 inches. Many mechanics prefer this kit because it helps to create more room between a vehicle’s engine and the bottom of a car when dropping the cradle assembly out from underneath. Older model PT1650’s do not have jam nuts drilled and welded to the base of the frame to accept this kit; thus, if a customer purchases this kit for an older PT1650, the customer will need to drill holes through the PT1650 frame base and through arms of this lowering kit, finally installing customer-supplied bolts to bolt the legs of this kit to the base of the lift. If this kit is purchased for a new model PT1650, these drilled/threaded mounting holes are already in place and no modification is needed by the customer.
