Ask & Answer

    Q. Can this be used with fine media (AO 120) for detailed stone and glass carving?
    A. It should work with fine grit media, but the bristles on the gun may obscure your view making it difficult to obtain detailed, precise results. Perhaps a SODA BLASTER might be a better option. The nozzles are small and precise, though we don’t offer one with a vacuum reclaim system. The manufacturer also says, "We do not suggest anything finer." Thanks for reaching out Jocko!

    Q. Can I use this blasting machine to clean glass tile??? Or porcelain tile??
    A. We asked the manufacturer but did not get a response. This likely means they do not have experience attempting to media blast glass tile. I'm sorry, but we simply don't know.

    Q. What is the spread coming off the nozzle? Looking to cover up to 6" square tubing.
    A. The nozzle is 1/4" in diameter. Now, how wide will the spray be when it hits your workpiece? That's completely determined by how far back you hold the gun sir. We really can't answer this question with a difinitive answer because there isn't quite enough specificity in the question. I hope this helps. Thanks Roy.

    A. We asked ALC your question and were told, "Yes, you can use corn cob as long as it is 20 grit or higher." Thanks for shopping with us!
