It's really robust and I like that the balancing system allows me to turn it with a large wrench instead of via a small handle like on some of the lesser models. Just watch out and be sure you don't try to rotate the car unless it's properly balanced. The gear drive has shear pins that will shear if you rotate the car when it's not balanced. It's a cheap fix, but totally avoidable. Ask me how I know. Overall, I'd buy another. Michael H. Oct 29, 2024 this things a beast Oct 29, 2024 I have been looking at rotisseries for a while now and this is the one ive been wanting. I put it together in about 4 hr. the construction is outstanding extremely robust. will definitely hold up to whatever i through at it. I have several vehicles dodge, ford Pontiac. so i got the master kit and all the accessories and im glad i did it makes loading different models much easier not having to start from scratch. still needs slight mods. like the first thing i did was load my 1978 F159 cab on the truck cab adaptor. loved it went right on only had to drill 2 holes to accommodate the rear cab mount holes. with the auto level setup balancing it was easy and ive never used a rotisserie before. spins with one finger real nice. I would recommend this to anyone that has a project that needs extensive panel replacement. Im a bit older and have MS so i can't crawl around on the floor the way i used to and this is a game changer for me. i can now work comfortably in my garage on my own. it also doesn't take up that much space when not in use which is grate as space is usually at a premium. all and all i love this product and know you will too. Tom O Apr 26, 2024 Could use better shipping crate Apr 26, 2024 Luckily despite the bottom of the crate being blown out no parts were missing. Some paint scratches here and there and road rash on parts from getting dragged here there though. One other thing, the set up failed to inform to grease the large slip joints that the rams control. Once loaded, and if you have raised the rams the slip joints, big square tube slip joints, dont drop unless you shake and tap plus do everything you can to get them to drop. Grease i suppose would have cured that. But so far seems to be a good unit. Worth the money for sure.
