Great product but assembly instructions were terrible

    Sep 6, 2024
The heavy-duty lift works well for my needs, but I received no assembly instructions. I contacted Redline, who responded quickly with instructions that only slightly resembled the lift I bought. The pictures were of the lift, but the details must match previous versions. I was able to muddle through, but you should be prepared to wing it on some critical pieces, like the safety locks. All in all, it's a good lift at a reasonable price, so I'm happy with it.

Ask & Answer

    Q. The specs indicate a lifting height of 72"; how is that measured?
    A. From the ground to the top of the lifting pad "without" any truck adapters being used. Thanks for shopping with us!

    Q. how many amps (220V) but what's the breaker requirements to operate this lift?
    A. You'll need a 30 amp double-pole breaker. Thanks for your question!

    Q. how tall is the channel in the center of the lift and it runs the hydraulic line and cables right
    A. Yes sir. It's 1.5 inches tall. Thanks for your question!

    Q. How high of a ceiling do I need for the NT-15 lift?
    A. Well, the lift is 118" tall, so you'd realistically need a ceiling no shorter than probably 119" high. Granted, this does not account for the height of your vehicle. If you were lifting something like a Sprinter van, and you wanted to be able to stand up underneath it, then you'd surely need additional ceiling height based on whatever is the height of the van and how tall you are. In conclusion, you really need to measure for yourself to be sure this is going to work for your application. Thanks for your question!
