Our Redline RE200T press does not come with press plates because most customers machine their own tooling to be used with the press; thus, our 200 ton press plates are offered as an optional accessory. These USA made plates will arrive in bare steel and are Tig welded. Each plate can withstand 100 tons of force, so the operator will need to evenly distribute the press’ full 200 ton capacity over both plates in order to ensure they are not damaged. Each plate features solid steel grab handles and 1” solid square blocks welded to the bottom of the press to ensure it always remains inside the press during usage. Redline does recommend removing the plates in order to adjust the carriage height of the press as the additional weight of the plates can overload the winch system.
