    Great upgrade

Bought this gun as an upgrade for my HF blast gun. Turns out to be a definite improvement, just make sure you install a screen in your cabinet because this gun, just like all guns will clog up immediately if anything blasted off of your parts gets recycled through the blast cabinet.

    Q. I'm interested in sandblasting glazed pottery, not to remove the glaze but to alter it from glossy to satin or matte. What equipment and media would you suggest? Max size is 2' x 2' 3'. Thanks!
    A. We’d recommend our RE70 media blast cabinet. You’ll soon find out that just because an object “fits” inside a cabinet doesn’t necessarily mean you have “room” to blast it. Blast cabinets truly are the epitome of bigger is better. As for the media, that's hard to say as we have no experience blasting pottery. I'd probably try plastic bead first. Maybe walnut shell as well. THIS VIDEO might help to educate you on the different types of media and which ones to try first. Thanks for your question!

    Q. I have an outdoor cast iron fountain 8'tall by 4'wide. A very detainled floral iron casting I want to remove several layers of paint. What is your recomendation?
    A. I would use either THIS or THIS. Be prepared to lay a giant tarp underneath it so you can collect your used media. You can always sift it through a wire screen in order to reuse it. If the paint is really thick, consider going over it first with a needle scaler to get the bulk off of it.
