I was looking for an inexpensive option to do some small refinishing jobs. This does exactly what it is intended to do and I can't find any faults.

This is a great solution for small soda blasting jobs. I blasted some aluminum golf cart engine parts and they looked like new when I was finished. I used the sodium bicarbonate blast media from HF. The gun took the carbon off of the top of the piston with ease. I can highly recommend this product.

Q. So, in the manual it does not indicate how turning the nozzle adjusts the amount of media flow. Does turning it out give you more media or restrict it?
A. Turning the nozzle does not change the media flow. This would be done via the incoming air pressure. Thanks Adam!

Q. does this model use regular over the counter baking soda
A. We've never tried it sir/ma'am. We've only used blasting soda from Harbor Freight, which works fine. Thanks Teri!

Q. What is the inner diameter of the nozzle tip? The smallest I can find with other brands is 4.5mm.

Q. I would like to start a little side business for stripping furniture. What unit would you recommend and what media.

A. We've never tried using soda to strip furniture sir. Your instincts are probably right to try the small handheld unit first before investing in anything larger. My first thoughts would be to use a dual action sander. Thanks for your question!
