    I looked at several different brands of motorcycle lift jacks. The safety catch arms on most other brands appeared to have flimsy looking flat bars that barely catch the safety detents whereas Redline's jack uses square tubing. This is a great jack that is made of quality parts, easy to assemble, and works great. Paired with Redline's SD1K ATV Motorcycle Engine Cradle Dolly allows me to quickly and easily jack up my Road Glide and put it on something solid for longer term use with the ease of rolling around. I highly recommend this product and I would also recommend buying this as a package deal with the Engine Cradle Dolly. Tried using a scissor jack for a while but should have bought this from the start and saved myself the headaches and hassles!     Q. have an 06 street glide, the lift i have, Redline Engineering RL135 Motorcycle ATV Lift Jack
    Model: RL135, can it be modified for a Wider lift platform. the rails now cover access points on under carriage of bike? hope that makes sense.
    A. Can it be done? Anything is possible if you're a fabricator that can weld. Do we have any sort of a kit we can sell you to accomplish this? No sir.

    Q. Does this lift lower the bike very slowly? I have another jack that was cheaper but it basically drops the bike, even using the pedal very carefully.
    A. Honestly, it competely depends on the weight of the bike. Very light bikes tend to come down slowly, and heavier bikes more quickly. If controlling the rate of decent is very important to you, we recommend getting a lift that has a down knob that you twist, instead of a down pedal you push with your foot. You can much better control the fluid rate with a knob that you barely twist. Sadly, Redline does not offer any models like that at this time. Thanks for shopping with us!

    Q. Hello! What is the tonnage rating on the bottle jack? Thank you!
    A. My apologies but we do not know the tonnage rating. We "think" it's 2 tons. Granted, once we install it into our SD1003P motocross lift, the capacity of the jack is lowered to 300 lbs due to the linkages of the lift in which this pump is installed. Thus, whether the bottle jack is rated to 2 tons or 3 or 4 tons, it's far over rated and accomliplishes the job just the same either way. Thanks for your question!

    Q. What kind of hydraulic fluid is used in this power lift jack
    A. #32 is fine. We've also seen people use 30 weight motor oil and that works too. Thanks Dave.

    Q. Will this lift work on a 2016 Harley FLHTK bagger?
    A. Assuming the jack has an ample spot to lift from under the engine cradle, then yes. With that said, this jack is not what I’d choose if I were you. Instead, I’d use two of the RE-FJ and put one as far forward as possible under the front and one as far rearward as possible. Doing so will distribute the weight over a broader area. You’ll jack up one end an inch or two, and then the other, and repeat. Take our word for it on this one; this is by-far the better way to go. Thanks for shopping with us!
