    "Redline RE26 Benchtop Abrasive Sand Blasting Cabinet" Bought this excellent little benchtop blasting cab, and it arrived quickly but took some abuse in route which damaged a leg and scratched up some of the extra clear glass protective sheets for the viewing window. I contacted them, and they jumped to the issue and made things right immediately, sent out new parts to get it up and working very quickly. Hat's off to Ian and Larry for their excellent customer service on top of a great value product. Now, I am going to go have a blast with this little tool ;)

    Q. Another question, please forgive me this is new to me.
    What media should be used with aluminum cast, it will be primed and painted afterwards. Not concerned about damage, just like to get it done fairly quick. Thank you
    A. Take a look at 10XEM . We sell medium grit which works well as an all-around abrasive media. Thanks for shopping with us!

    Q. Good morning, can the vacuum port be reduced to 1 1/2?
    A. You should be able to find a PVC reducer at your local home improvement store that will allow you to do what you are suggesting. You may need to glue it on. Thanks for reaching out Russ!

    Q. What size compressor is required?
    A. Based on our experience, we don't recommend anything smaller than a 5 Hp motor, which will normally supply around 17 cfm. You can get away with less, but you won't be working very efficiently. Thanks for shopping with us!

    Q. Why no walnut shells in the benchtop blast cabinets? Is there a conversion?
    A. You likely won't find walnut shell in a small enough size media that it can flow through the plumbing of this tiny cabinet. We've seen people successfully run walnut in our larger cabinets, but we've yet to see anyone source a fine grit walnut, use it in these smaller cabinets, and then report their findings to us. Sorry, no conversion exists.

    Q. What is the CFM @90psi air compressor requirement for this cabinet?
    A. I can't answer that sir. It depends on the size of the nozzle you're using. A 4mm nozzle is going to use far less air supply than a 7mm nozzle.
