Honestly, that's all up to you and how you load the vehicle onto the lift. At the end of the day, the vehicle has a center of gravity, and you either do or do not properly load that vehicle so the COG is well within the lifting arms. A small amount of lean or deflection from the lift isn't going to change this. If you do load it correctly, it'll be fine. If you don't, bad things will happen. I hope this helps. I'd like to store a car on the lift over the winter. Is it ok to hold a can in the air while another is parked underneath for months?

No problem at all. Just set the upper vehicle onto the safety locks so that you're not requiring the hydraulics to be under pressure for the winter. Steel does not weaken over time so long as it's not exposed to the elements and rusting. Thanks for shopping with us!

Will this lift work with an C8 corvette??

Assuming your C8 has at least 4' of ground clearance, then the lift will certainly be able to get underneath it. We are unaware of the pickup points on the C8, so you'd want to consult page 4 of the manual to make sure the lifts' arms can reach your correct pickup points. I hope this helps. How thick do you recommend the concrete floor be to support this lift? Thanks.

You'll need a 4' thick slab made of 3,000 psi or stronger concrete, plus it must be reinforced with either wire or fiberglass. This is pretty standard across concrete slabs in our country, but it's not necessarily a guarantee your slab meets these specs. Thanks Dave.
