    Works pretty okay

    Sep 27, 2021
Setting up the cabinet is fairly easy; anyone who has ordered furniture, etc should have no problem with assembly. Seems to be working pretty well. Be sure to have the seal covering the corners well. Also, I picked up some medium media; I will be picking up some heavier stuff to remove heavy rust and weld burns. For the money, I’m pretty okay with it.

    It's.... ok

    Jul 28, 2023
Assembly was fairly straightforward even though the instructions were translated and lacking in specifics. The unit is sturdy and works pretty well. The top of mine doesn't quite line up correctly, but the clip holds it in place. It does blow some media out through the top seams even at a pressure of 40 psi. After a short period, it becomes very difficult to see what is happening inside the cabinet even with the light. I may try to add a port for a Shop-Vac to evacuate the dust. I am using glass bead with an equivalent of 80-100 grit.

Ask & Answer

    Q. Watched a lot of your vids, but I'm still a bit baffled on one specific point. I don't see how a box of metal and plastic can have a CFM requirement.

It's the combination of the pickup, the media size, weight, and flow characteristics, the gun, and the nozzle that dictate what CFM and pressure will be needed to remove whatever off of whatever.

Am I missing something here? Thanks!
    A. Nope. You're 100% correct sir. The box itself does not affect the CFM requirement at all. We provide a sort-of rule-of-thumb CFM that will get you in the ballpar in terms of where you'll need to be, but as you start changing the pressure, the media size, and especially the nozzle size, that CFM requirement will change instantly. I hope this helps.

    Q. Where can I buy replacement air and feed hoses from? I can only find vinyl hoses that wont bend well. Thank you for your help!
    A. We carry the parts for our machines sir. Please email photos of the parts you need to [email protected] and we'll check on availability and pricing. If you can provide your order number, that will expedite things as well. Thanks for your inquiry!

    Q. I have lost my plug in power cord for the light. Can I but that separately?
    A. You mean THIS?

    Q. Is the window made from plastic or glass?
    A. It is plastic. It's not really possible to ship these with glass windows as they'll never arrive to the customer in one piece once UPS has performs their magic. Thanks for your question!

    Q. Can you use this for soda blasting material instead sand blasting.
    A. We do not offer a soda blast conversion for this cabinet, nor do we have any experience with making such a conversion. With that said, we've seen it done. Buying a pressurized soda blast machine, such as the SDBO7G, and routing the line into a blast cabinet seems like an elementary modification. If you choose to buy the components and try it out, please be sure to share the results with us. Thanks for shopping with us!
