    Q. How is the replacement parts availability?
    A. It’s so-so. They usually have common parts in stock like cylinders, seal kits, and power units, but if you need an oddball part, Triumph is not likely to have it in stock and you could be waiting a couple months to get it. If you want great parts availability, get one of THESE LIFTS. We’ve personally seen their parts inventory room and it’s extensive. Thanks for shopping with us!

    Q. If I'm looking to have multiple lifts, how far apart from each other can I install them? Right now, i've established a layout with 5 lifts, side by side.

    A. We like to see folks do no less than 3 feet, but our official answer must always be to check the manual of the lift you're installing to see what they recommend, because each lift is different. Thanks for your question.

    Q. Do you need to bleed the hydraulic lines or will the self bleed any air or will it collect in the cylinders? I bought a used lift and it looks pretty much like this one and having been a heavy equipment operator as one of my past professions and I am worried about that problem. Otherwise a very good video for someone like myself who bought a used lift and removed as well as re-install it.

    A. Most chain drive lifts are bled by raising and lowering the lift without a load. Raise the lift ½ way and lower it, ¾, lower, all the way, lower. As you lower the lift each time, you should notice air exiting the system into the power unit reservoir. If there is a good amount of air in the system, you may need to add a little weight to the arms to help it come down, but you do not want to lift a vehicle to perform this task. If the lift is a direct drive system, most of them have bleeder valves on the top of the cylinder. Slowly unscrew the bleeder. Close the bleeder when no more air/bubbles are coming out. Do this on both cylinders. Thanks for reaching out Ed!
